EASTERN | Contemporary Design

October 15, 2009

Japanese architects Anna Nakamura and Taiyo Jinno of EASTERN design office employed sixty, floor to ceiling slats instead of traditional windows, to illuminate a contemporary home in Shiga, Japan.  Glass is situated between the narrow concrete openings, which provide the owner with privacy in the populated residential area.
