Lattice or Labyrinth | Enchanting Gardens

November 11, 2009

Wednesday is a perfect day for a virtual field trip to a few of the most imaginative public gardens in the world.  The sampling varies widely from Francisco Alvarado Park in Costa Rica, where landscape designer Evangelisto Blanco carved weird and wonderful archways and waltzing elephants from the verge, to the vertical gardens, innovated by Patrick Blanc, that swathe the façade of the Quai Branly Museum in Paris, France.
