Michael Wolf | Transparent City

November 18, 2009

In his series Transparent City, photographer Michael Wolf presents viewers with densely packed cityscapes void of horizon and sky.  The endless grid of architecture captures the viewer’s eye and offers no point at which to leave the photograph.  The gaze cycles endlessly around the photograph until it becomes voyeuristic, taking in the more intimate scenes of work and life unfolding inside.
