Happy Thanksgiving | Bon Weekend

November 26, 2009

One of E’s very favorite traditions is the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade held in New York City.  A Thanksgiving tradition since 1924, the inaugural parade featured floats, costumed store employees, professional entertainers & live animals on loan from the Central Park Zoo.  Gradually however, the live animals were replaced by the animal shaped balloons that make the annual parade such a unique & beloved holiday spectacle.
