The House of Movement and Light

February 7, 2010

Naturally tactile materials, a neutral color palate, and the azure Melbourne sky are vital elements of the Ross Street home, created by Robert Mills Architects.  Placid external pools border the continuous platform of the ground floor, allowing fluid movement around the space and out into an open courtyard, just as a skylight-crowned staircase invites the daylight in, creating a distinctive space of movement and light.
