Cloudscape

September 13, 2010

Cloudscape, a collaboration between German climate engineering firm Transsolar and Japanese Architectural firm Tetsuo Kondo, is a micro-climate installation presented at the 12th International Architecture Biennale in Venice, Italy.  A system of ramps allows visitors to experience three distinct layers of atmosphere as they stroll the exhibition space, a cool and dry ground level, a warm and humid middle layer, and a hot and dry tier just above the clouds.
