McQueen | The Final Collection

The romanticism, skilled craftsmanship and graceful interpretation of the medieval beauties depicted in Northern European portraiture, materialize in the garments of Alexander McQueen final collection.  Hand-loomed jacquards, depicting the visual content of alter paintings and the angles and demons of cathedral ceilings, had been 80 percent finished at the time of McQueen’s suicide.
