Pop-Couture

The Warhol inspired portrait of Designer Anna Molinari prominently displayed as the runway back drop, made plain her inspiration for the 2009 Blumarine fall collection.  The couture channeled Andy Warhol’s Pop Art directly in dresses and leggings mimicking his famous flower prints and a candy colored rainbow of satin gowns.  References to 80’s fashion also made an appearance in the chic leopard print ensembles and the flirty shredded cocktail dresses.
